Project Descriptions

Mahbubnagar Junior College Nurse-Aide Program is a 2-year course. This bursary covers the tuition for 20 students per year. $200 pays for one student. New Project

Shamshabad MB Bible College Nurse Educator teaches useful Public Health principles and techniques to Bible College spouses and students. Funding helps with the nurse’s salary. New Project 

Medical Student Scholarships provide support for two outstanding candidates for $2,500 each. New Project

The Jadcherla MB Medical Centre Library Program furnishes Health Care Professionals and Students with current text and journals as well as the newest web-based content.

The Visiting Health Care Professional Program to the Jadcherla Medical Centre assists the local medical, nursing and technical personnel in its challenging ministry in southeast India. Persons interested in participating should contact the Board President.

The Medicine Credit Program Phase 1 has been completed. MMHA is partnering in co-managing 7 health zones using the Medicine Credit Program as a model. New Phase

The Congo Mennonite Medical Association meets yearly for professional support and education. MMHA assists with funding for transportation cost.

The Residency Training Program allows sponsorship of an intern for $5,000

A Physician’s Handbook has been published for use by Congo Health Care Professionals. Further funds will assist in the translation of other texts and to make them affordable to local professionals. New Project

The Medical Library Program furnishes Health Care Professionals and Students with current text and journals as well as the newest web-based content. New Project

Mtshabezi Hospital Support - After several years without medical coverage, a physician is now in service at Mtshabezi Hospital. A Medicine Credit Program similar to the Congo project assists the medical staff of Mtshabezi Mission Hospital New Project

Alto Refugio in Asunción, Paraguay Alto Refugio AIDS Hospice ministers to people living with HIV/AIDS. Mennonite Mission Health Association assists with materials and medications.
