How do we work?

The IMHA board meets 2 times a year to:

  1. Review the data base of professionals and discuss how IMHA can improve its service to the network
  2. Review the professional training list and approve new candidates
  3. Review applications for service opportunities and make approvals
  4. Review projects submitted by IMHA members and make approvals

IMHA uses a predetermined set of guidelines and criteria to guide it decisions.
Most of IMHA business takes place online including the board meetings. Donations to IMHA go to help supporting the website and the financial accounting.



How do board members become board members?

  • Become a member of IMHA
  • Discover an area of interest in partnering for health care in developing countries
  • Participate in learning about the country of interest in visioning trip
  • Participate in board meetings as an IMHA member
  • Be open to serving for 3-year term on board
